The aroma of real Bourbon vanilla is incomparable, which is why everyone loves the pod and it is not for nothing the „queen of spices”. Besides saffron, it is even one of the most valuable spices in the world.
However, it can only be called Bourbon vanilla if the vanilla plant, an orchid, is grown on one of the „Bourbon islands”. These include the Comoros, Madagascar, Mauritius, Réunion (formerly Île Bourbon) and the Seychelles. This is also where the name Bourbon vanilla comes from.
Ruf Bourbon vanilla sugar consists of the finest sugar, which has been combined with the natural aroma of real Bourbon vanilla pods. The delicate scent and heavenly sweetness refine whipped cream, creams and all kinds of pastries. Give your favorite recipes that certain something and sweeten your day for yourself and your guests. -
